Born and raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA, Frances Leon’s journey is a testament to passion, resilience, and the enduring power of family. With a rich cultural heritage and a deep love for the arts, Frances majored in music at Xavier University, where she cultivated her talent and appreciation for the performing arts.
Upon graduating, Frances embarked on a new chapter in her life. She married and became the proud mother of three wonderful children. Her family soon relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where she began a long and fulfilling career as a teacher. Frances's dedication to education went beyond the classroom; she inspired her students by integrating her passion for drama and the arts into her teaching. She even wrote and directed original plays, giving her students the unique opportunity to bring her imaginative stories to life on stage.
After retiring from teaching, Frances embraced new opportunities with the same enthusiasm and creativity that had defined her career. She ventured into modeling and commercial acting, showcasing her timeless beauty and charismatic presence. Her forays into these fields have been met with success, adding another exciting chapter to her diverse career.
Frances's adventurous spirit and love of learning have taken her around the world. Her travels have deepened her appreciation for different cultures and enriched her understanding of the human experience. This global perspective, combined with her unwavering love for her family, inspired her to write her first book, "TWICE AROUND THE BLOCK, THEN THE PARK." This work is a heartfelt reflection of her journeys, both physical and emotional, and a celebration of the people and places that have shaped her life.
